Khbrat-USA: Building Leadership for Change through School Immersion

Dear Khbrat participants:

We look forward to welcoming you to the Khbrat: Building Leadership for Change through School Immersion program in July! This program will provide you with the opportunity to improve your English language and teaching skills. The program is comprised of five main elements: English language classes, graduate-level courses focusing on foreign language teaching and learning, individualized faculty mentoring, immersion in K-12 schools, and cultural/enrichment activities.

Our unique program is comprised of qualified faculty ready to share with you their knowledge of the field and help you take your teaching to a new level upon returning to Saudi Arabia. We are positive that you will be exposed to new teaching methodologies during your time at UNC Charlotte, including the use of technological tools and digital resources that you can incorporate into your classes!

To complement your time in class, the program is dedicated to sharing U.S. history and culture and providing fun and exciting experiences in and around the Charlotte area. We will arrange a variety of high impact and popular cultural activities for you to enjoy–we look forward to welcoming you to the “Queen City” and cannot wait to share our city with all of you!

Please use this website to prepare for your time in our program. As you can see, we have already added lots of details for your review. And, please check back often as we will continue to update these pages over the next few weeks with more details.

We look forward to meeting you soon!
