Interested Students
The Office of Intercultural and Educational Experiences has been successfully hosting short-term, customized programs for students from around the world since 1991. OIEE has had the pleasure of welcoming students from a wide range of disciplines. Sample programs include: English-language immersion, discipline specific (U.S. Education, Business Negotiations & Leadership, American Culture & History, etc…), faculty-led (American Sub-Cultures), and a wide variety of other customized short-term courses offered to university students, educators, and others.
OIEE prides itself in creating and implementing programs with strong academic and experiential components. Lectures and workshops are developed and led by experienced faculty and industry professionals. All of our custom-designed programs integrate experiential learning activities, cultural and recreational events, and opportunities for interaction with the university and local community. All programs utilize the wealth of resources at UNC Charlotte and our surrounding community.
Most groups come to UNC Charlotte through a connection in their home country (university partnership or provider affiliation). Please check with your home campus to learn about your options to study at UNC Charlotte.
