Thinking Your Way to Success: The Corporate World and Societal Good (July 2016)

This program considered and confronted the traditional image of big business. For an intensive one-week period, MBA students from partner institution Stellenbosch University, explored what, beyond high profits, adds value to a business and how investing in societal good may provide an advantage. Through real-world examples and expert-led discussions, participants examined creativity, critical thinking, and forward-thinking leadership in companies that exhibit a commitment to public interest.


EducationUSA Leadership Institute (February 2015)

UNC Charlotte was the proud host of the inaugural EducationUSA Leadership Program in January of 2015. This private, US Department of State program, administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE) was developed for mid-level International Education professionals from select countries and focused on best practices for campus internationalization and mobility strategies.


Brazilian English Teachers USA (BETUSA) (July-August 2013) & Brazilian English Teacher Program (PDPI) (January 2017-February 2017)

This six week program was developed for Brazilian English teachers who traveled to UNC Charlotte through funding made available by their home country (CAPES) to participate in an intensive English language immersion as well as pedagogical training program with guided assistance and hands-on learning opportunities. Teachers departed the course with improved English language and teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) skills.
